Scrisoare despre Mithya

(Traducerea din Marathi a scrisorii Sfintiei Sale Shri Mataji  trimisa cu ocazia celebrarii zilei Sahasrarei pe 05.05.1975)

 

Dragul meu Damie,

Multe binecuvantari.

 

Am primit scrisoarea ta. Este un semn bun sa simti o extindere a Sahasrarei tale, pentru ca doar prin intermediul  Sahasrarei, raze nesfarsite curg in inima omului si noi usi ale fiintei interioare se deschid. Dar inainte ca aceasta gratie sa coboare in interior, trebuie sa fie o extindere a Sahasrarei. Noi intelegem extinderea [chakrei] inimii care este, de asemenea, silentioasa, dar in partea de sus - acolo este emotionala. Dar extinderea Sahasrarei vine de jur-imprejur. Apoi omul este integrat in acea Dharma (corectitudine). Si constientizarea  cere chaitanya (Constiinta Divina) care este iubirea lui Dumnezeu. Aceasta se intampla spontan. Desi este calitatea lui Kundalini, personalitatea voastra ar trebui sa o consolideze pe Kundalini, voi ati dobandit aceasta calitate in vietile anterioare si, prin urmare, aceasta viata este mareata [deoarece] oameni atat de pretiosi sunt disponibili pentru munca Mea.

 

Daca intelegi ca, desi Fiinta Mea fizica este aici, Eu sunt peste tot (Omniprezentã), ar trebui, de asemenea, sa se realizeze cã si acest Corp  nu este real [este o iluzie]. Este dificil sa atingi acest nivel dar gradual, iluzia este deslusita iar adevarul se va stabiliza fara efort si valuri imense  de extaz vor invalui fiinta ta. Explic in aceasta scrisoare ce este Iluzia (Mithya). Ea trebuie citita tuturor si asimilata de toti.

 

Iluzia (Mithya) incepe de indata ce va nasteti in aceasta lume. Numele vostru, orasul, tara, horoscopul, previziunile [astrale], multe alte lucruri va sunt atribuite sau altii vi le atribuie. Odata ce Brahmarandhra se inchide, multe tipuri de idei iluzorii devin parte din mintea voastra. Ganduri false de genul “este al meu sau ei sunt ai mei”, va identifica cu lucruri exterioare! Pe langa aceasta, alte asocieri facute de societate, cum ar fi ”corpul meu ar trebui sa fie sanatos si frumos”, va sunt inoculate. Apoi relatiile iluzorii, cum ar fi “el este tatal meu, el este fratele meu, ea este mama mea” sunt in capul vostru. In timp ce Ego-ul nostru se dezvolta, idei prostesti precum, “sunt bogat, sunt sarac, sunt neajutorat, sau apartin unei familii cu o pozitie inalta” etc, va vin in cap. Multe persoane oficiale si politicieni devin egoisti (precum magarii). Apoi apar furia, intoleranta, dezbinarea, tristetea, atasamentul care este ascuns sub masca iubirii si ispitele sub chipul asa-zisului statut social. Omul se agata cu mare afectare de acest tip iluzoriu de viata. Daca ganditi sa renuntati la toate acestea si faceti eforturi, tot ceea ce obtineti este cunoastere iluzorie, pentru ca atentia (Chitta) se misca de-a lungul canalului drept (Pingala) si atunci sunteti atrasi de Siddhis (Puteri) si alte tentatii. A vedea pe Kundalini si chakrele este, de asemenea, iluzoriu, pentru ca nu obtineti niciun castig, ci dimpotriva, este periculos. Indiferent ce [metode de] autocontrol si alte practici moarte insistati sa faceti, toate acestea se adauga la limitarea Chittei voastre. Ca atare, [in acest mod] nu exista niciun drum catre Eliberare.

 

Insa nu se scutura toata iluzia odata cu Realizarea Sinelui. Ea este inlaturata gradual. Daca voi negati cu o convingere ferma, din toata inima voastra, tot ceea ce este iluzie (Mithya), atunci veti avea Realizarea Sinele (Atman) in forma Lui pura. [Realizarea completa a Sinelui]. Dupa aceea, [El] este stabilizat in voi. Cu toate ca aceeasi atentie supusa mortii, umana, este scaldata in ceea ce este insasi natura Iubirii, a Adevarului fara inceput si fara sfarsit, [aceeasi atentie umana] Il stabilizeaza pe Shiva. Atentia umana este menita sa constientizeze aceasta Realitate. Aceasta atentie trebuie sa devina una cu Atman. Doar aceasta Atentie care progreseaza renuntand la tot ce este nereal, iluzoriu (Mithya), care strapunge toate legaturile stiute si nestiute, [doar aceasta atentie] devine cu adevarat Sinele.                   

 

Atma nu este niciodata perturbat sau distrus. Numai atentia umana in cautarea satisfacerii dorintelor paraseste calea ei interioara. Aceasta este Maya (Iluzia). Ea a fost intentionat creata. Fara ea, atentia nu s-ar fi dezvoltat  [nu ar fi evoluat]. Nu trebuie sa va fie frica de Maya si ar trebui sa o recunoasteti, asa incat Ea sa va ilumineze calea. Norii ascund soarele si, de asemenea, il fac vizibil. In acelasi fel, odata ce Maya este recunoscuta, identificata, ea se retrage si soarele este vazut. Soarele este intotdeauna acolo dar care este rolul norilor? Datorita norilor voi aveti dorinta sa vedeti soarele care straluceste un moment si apoi se ascunde din nou undeva. Da putere si curaj vederii voastre pentru a vedea soarele. Omul a fost creat cu eforturi mari. Numai daca se ridica putin pe propriile picioare si totul este un succes. Dar, totusi, nu a fost posibil. Prin urmare, am venit ca Mamã a voastra.

 

Scrieti-Mi scrisori despre problemele voastre. Stati in meditatie. Este bine sa discutati sahaja yoga chiar si intre voi. Atentia (Chitta) trebuie mereu absorbita, din ce in ce mai adanc, in interior. Uitati lucrurile exterioare cat mai mult posibil. Aveti incredere ca, in aceasta privinta, totul este ingrijit [de catre Divin]. Sunt multe exemple care o dovedesc. Apoi, in tot ceea ce faceti, atentia ramane in uniune cu Sinele. Toate conexiunile cu pacatele (Pap) si meritele (Puniasurile) sunt rupte. Deosebirile lumesti sau nelumesti se risipesc, pentru ca acel intuneric pervers (pacatos) care a creat toate discriminarile se sfarseste [scindarile de realitate]. Totul devine auspicious in lumina cunoasterii adevarate [reale], fie ca este distrugerea facuta de Shri Krishna sau de Crucea lui Shri Isus.

Toate acestea nu pot fi intelese prin [simpla] explicare . Doar aratand Calea nu ajuta. Calea va fi cunoscuta doar dupa ce veti fi mers pe ea.

 

Cand primesc scrisoarile voastre, Eu Imi fixez obiectivele. Dupa ceva timp, chiar si acest lucru nu va mai fi necesar. Dar acum, voi toti trebuie sa notati experientele proprii si progresul. La intoarcerea Mea, vom vedea cate canale ale ale Viratei ati trezit. Se pare ca aceasta munca va fi mai intensa in cazul pamantului sfant al Indiei si, cand va fi complet dezvoltata[evoluata], se va intinde in toate tarile si in toate directiile.

Letter on Mithya (Translation of Her Holiness Mataji’s letter in Marathi sent on the occasion of Sahastrar
day celebrations on 5.5.1975.), 5 May 75.

My dear Damie,
Many blessings,

Received your letter It is a very good sign to feel a pull on Sahastrar, because only through Sahastrar endless rays are poured in man’s heart and new doors of inner being are opened. But before this grace descends in, there should be a pull in Sahastrar. We understand the pull of heart which is also silent, but fop-sided, that is emotional. But pull of Sahastrar becomes all-round. There, man is in integrated state, in that Dharma (righteousness) and awareness implore for chaitanya (Divine Consciousness) that is God’s love. This happens spontaneously. Although it is the skill of your Kundalini, your personality should strengthen the Kundalini You earned that quality in previous lives and hence this life is great that gems of persons are available for my work.

If you understand that although my physical being is here I am all over, it should also be realized that even this body is an unreal (Mithya) appearance. It is difficult to come to this stage but if gradually unreal is discerned, the truth will be established effortlessly and waves of great bliss will envelop your being. I am explaining, in this letter, what is unreal (Mithya). It should be read out to all and assimilated by all.

Unreal starts soon after the birth in this world. Your name, village, country, horoscope, forecasts, many such things get attached to you or others attach them to you. Once Brahmarandhra is closed, many types of illusory ideas become a part of your mind. False thoughts like ‘it is mine or they are mine,’ identify with outside objects ! Besides, man-made bindings such as “My body should be healthy and beautiful” are inculcated. Then unreal relationships like, ‘he is my father, he is my brother, she is my mother’, are on your head. As ego develops, foolish ideas, such as, ‘I am rich, I am poor, I am helpless, or I belong to high family etc. come in your head. Many officials and and politicians become egoists (Donkeys). Then, there are anger, hatred forbearance, separation, sorrow, attachment under the cover of love and temptations in the guise of social status. Man with great affection keeps clinging to this unreal way of life. If you think of getting rid of all these, and make efforts, what you get is illusory knowledge, because the attention (Chitta) moves along Pingala Channel, and then you are involved in Siddhis (Powers) and other temptations. A vision of Kundalini and Chakras is also illusory because there is no gain from it, on the contrary it is harmful. Whatever self-controls and mortifications you insist on practicing effectively, all of them add to the limitations on your Chitta (attention). As such there is no way for liberation.

But all unreal does not fall off with the Self-Realization. It can be broken off gradually. If, with firm conviction, you deny from Your heart all that is unreal (Mithya), you will have the realization of the Self (Atman) in its pure form. Thereafter it is established within you. Albeit, the same mortal human Chitta is drenched in that which is of the nature of love, truth, having no beginning and end, verily the Shiva. Human Chitta is meant for realizing that reality. This Chitta must become one with that Atman. Only that Chitta, which progresses renouncing all unreal (Mithya), breaks all known and unknown bindings and becomes verify the Self.

Atma is never disturbed or destroyed. Only human attention (Chitta), in pursuit of desires, leaves its inner path. This is Maya (the illusion). She has been intentionally created. Without her the attention (Chitta) would not have developed. You should not be afraid of Maya and should recognize her so that She will illuminate your path. Cloud hides the sun as also makes it seen. In the same way once the Maya is identified she moves aside and the sun is seen. The sun is always there but what is the purpose of cloud ? Because of cloud you have an urge to see the sun which shines for a moment and again hides somewhere. It gives strength and courage to your sight to see the sun. Man has been created with such great efforts Only one step on his feet and all is successful. But, still it is not becoming possible. Hence, I have come as your Mother.

Write your problems to me in letters. Sit down in meditation. It is best to discuss only Sahaja Yoga even amongst each other. Attention (Chitta) should always be kept going deeper and deeper within. Forget outside as much as possible. Have confidence that everything about it is taken care of. There are many instances to prove it. Then, in whatever you do, your Chitta (attention) remains in oneness with the Self. All bindings of sin (Pap) and merit (Punya) are snapped. Distinctions like worldly and non worldly vanish, because that wicked darkness, which has created all the discriminations, ends. Everything becomes auspicious in the light of true knowledge, whether it is the destruction done by Shri Krishna or the Cross of Shri Jesus.

All this will not be understood by explaining. Just showing the path will not help. The path will be known only after walking on it.

When I get your letters I fix the targets. After some time even that will not be necessary. But, for the present all should write their own experiences and progress. When I come, we will see how many of Virata’s channels (Nadis) you have awakened. It appears, this work will come up in the case of holy land of India, and when fully developed, it will spread in all countries and directions.
